Perception of Perspective is Powerful

Dec 01, 2025

“The more you know, the more you see.” ~ Aldous Huxley

We begin life in curiosity, so let us begin here: “What am I seeing in the world, how does it reflect what I know, and in essence, who I am being?”

Perception is WHAT we see and experience through our humanness, our senses; its limitation is based on our consciousness, our awareness. Perspective is HOW we see, through the lens of who we are. Power is the essence of our presence; it comes FROM within.

When we really look at it, what we are seeing in the world is who we are being. We have the power to perceive our perspective.

Everything in life is an experience and an event. How we respond to it, how we react to it, creates the outcome. The outcome is the story we tell, that builds the life we know. Do we feel empowered by how we navigated these experiences in our life, or do we feel disempowered? Do we feel like a victor, or do we feel a victim?

Our life is the collection of stories we tell of the relationship we have with ourselves, along with the evolution of our existence. That is the first level of our perception. We then define this life based on how we choose to be, the perspective we have of ourselves and what we see in our world. The power is recognizing that we are the one that is facilitating and creating our lives, while collaborating with those in our field, the relationships in our lives.

We are walking disco balls, constantly reflecting to others while being reflected back from others how we are showing up in our lives, in our communities, in our families.

As we move through life, we learn that our bodies tell us who we are being more than our minds do. When we really look and listen, we then begin to recognize that our connection to Self is the true power of our perspective to witness what we are perceiving.

We then get to ask ourselves:

  • Are we living our life choosing authentic, aligned actions?
  • Are we existing from our highest vibration?
  • Are we reactive to, or accepting, of our circumstances?

When we recognize that life is a series of stories built through everyday choices and experiences, that it is happening for us and not to us, then we will remember that all that exists in us has created a foundation for who we are being and how we are living.

We realize that every moment we can experience the power that comes from the perspective of our perceptions.
